When: December through March, Friday to Sunday, at 1pm + 2pm

Escape into the vineyard on a journey through walking trails until you reach our scenic river landing with seating. While cozying up around a fire, enjoy one rare wine from the Benjamin Bridge cellar with your dedicated host. We’ll talk about the vineyard, its life cycle, and Nova Scotia’s unique terroir, all while taking in the view of the rushing Gaspereau River. For those that are looking for a non-alcoholic option, enjoy a beverage warmed over the open fire or one of our zero-proof options. On your way back to the winery, choose from intersecting walking trails to enjoy up to 2km of our picturesque vineyard. 

Experience highlights:

  • Vineyard walk to private setting: Enjoy a short 500m walk through the vineyard to the riverside landing 

  • Guided rare wine tasting with carved ice glass: Once cozied up around the fires alongside the rushing Gaspereau River, your host will begin your guided wine tasting of one rare wine from the BB cellar. As an optional activity you can carve your own wine glass out of an ice block!

  • Gain winemaking insights from our team: Learn about our distinct winemaking process and the story of Benjamin Bridge, while sipping a rare seasonal wine and enjoying a house-made snack

  • From there head straight back to the winery, or choose from intersecting walking trails to enjoy up to 2km of our picturesque vineyard

This unique winter experience combines the joys of sipping sparkling wine with the slower pace of life in the Gaspereau Valley.

Please note: this outdoor experience requires walking on uneven terrain through our working farm, so please wear appropriate footwear. BEFORE & AFTER YOUR TASTING

For travel time, we are located just outside Wolfville, 75 minutes from Halifax, Nova Scotia.

After your tasting, you can visit our on-site wine shop to purchase our wines and merchandise, or have a seat on our new wine terrace to enjoy more of our wines by the glass or bottle while overlooking the gentle slopes of our vineyard. Our winery is wheelchair accessible.

Guided by your dedicated host, tap into the heart of our unique sparkling wine program on this private Benjamin Bridge tasting experience.

This 90-minute, memorable experience is perfect for those who want to explore an in-depth taste of Benjamin Bridge.

The Archive Tasting is available throughout the year. We kindly request that you please book at least two weeks in advance to ensure we have a host available. We will provide a full refund for cancellations received one week prior to booking. Your party will not be combined with other groups.

The Archive Tasting is $1500 per group and accommodates up to 8 guests, but can also be booked for just one or two people looking for a private experience.
