Our 2025 Riesling aligns with the most fundamental qualities of Nova Scotia wines: refreshing, energized by natural acidity, and, more importantly, an ageing ability measured in decades. Created in the light, off-dry style of German Kabinett wines, this new vintage is one to try. Often praised as a favourite for many wine enthusiasts, Riesling is a highly-aromatic, cool-climate-loving, ever-versatile variety known for producing a wide array of wine styles and pairing with just about any fare.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

The 2025 season will be remembered as one of rare balance and beauty. Record warmth and a historic dry spell defined the summer, pushing ripeness to new heights while preserving the natural freshness that defines Nova Scotia wines. With 1,240 growing degree days—well above the 10-year average—and remarkably little rainfall through the ripening months, the grapes matured slowly and evenly, concentrating both flavour and fragrance. These conditions were particularly favourable to Riesling, which can struggle with excessive acidity and leaner body in cooler vintages, but in this exceptional vintage benefited from the dry and warm weather to reach a level of ripeness and aromatic expression unseen before in Nova Scotia.
