The nose is layered and captivating, starting with notes of honeycomb wax and honeysuckle, then transitioning into delicate orchard blossoms. The palate is balanced, dense and rich, with a precise finish highlighting notes of candied orange and brioche. The finish reveals our terroir’s unmistakable saline minerality.

The pinnacle of our sparkling program, our Brut Reserve is painstakingly selected from only the highest quality micro-lots from the oldest plantings on our organic estate vineyards, no matter how diminutive the volume.
The Brut Reserve is annually assembled with the sole purpose of finding the most harmonious and powerful combination of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. An exception emerges when a parcel stands out for its impressive quality, such as this ’13 estate Blanc de Blancs. The Chardonnay grapes that comprise this special cuvée were planted in 2001 and farmed organically from the very beginning on the south-facing slopes of our estate in the Gaspereau Valley.
The growing season of 2013 experienced higher than average temperatures resulting in a richer more decadent profile overall. Yet, the cool maritime breezes off the Bay of Fundy moderated the nights during veraison, which resulted in an unprecedented level of aromatics and phenolic maturity. This wine’s commercial release will be in autumn 2020.
