In the glass, a deep golden wheat colour with an amber hue. On the nose, notes of meyer lemon preserves, yuzu, key lime pie, and clover honey are complemented by a distinctive marine salinity. The palate immediately captivates with its purity and vibrancy; suggestions of pastry cream and orange liqueur expand and persist throughout an everlasting finish.

FURTHER NOTES
Each spring, our winemaking team and collaborators from Europe and North America gather at Benjamin Bridge to evaluate and discuss, at a round table, the merit of the most recent vintage.
After a detailed evaluation of each individual barrel, a consensus is reached about the identity of the best barrels of the year. A limited-edition wine is then made with the sole purpose of sharing those few overachieving barrels with the world. That is, in short, the Brut Reserve.
Following in the footsteps of a 2014 vintage that featured the tension and briskness of a cooler growing year, the 2015 Brut Reserve instead expands on qualities related to higher heat units such as richness, opulence, and a rounder textural profile.
The 2015 is the first Brut Reserve in history to feature prominent (50%) oak ageing, as well as partial malolactic fermentations. A fascinating gateway wine bridging the past and future.
